Hibr Press

Executed an end-to-end digital infrastructure rebuild for a prominent Syrian independent newspaper. High-traffic journalism platforms require rock-solid reliability, so this project focused heavily on secure data migration, server-side performance, and protecting the site from traffic spikes and potential security threats.

Engineering & Operational Deliverables:

  • Legacy Data Migration: Successfully engineered the extraction and migration of years of journalistic data, articles, and media from their old database into the newly structured architecture without any data loss or SEO degradation.
  • Advanced Server Architecture: Configured the dedicated hosting environment from the ground up. I implemented a robust Content Delivery Network (CDN) and deployed reverse-proxy technology to ensure lightning-fast global load times and provide a heavy shield against DDoS attacks or traffic surges.
  • Lean CMS Deployment: Deployed and deeply configured the Publisher theme. Recognizing the need for speed, I bypassed heavy relational plugins (like ACF) and structured the native WordPress environment strictly for high-volume, rapid-fire news publishing across their political, social, and regional categories.
